Known widely as a bold and principled leader, he has earned his place as an undisputed icon among the legal fraternity, especially within the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) . His journey from humble beginnings to becoming a beacon for lawyers’ rights &  human rights advocacy is truly inspiring.

Educational Background – A Foundation of Excellence

Nadeem Chaudhary’s early education began at the prestigious Central Model School # 1 Lowe Mall Lahore, where he completed his matriculation with distinction . He then went on to pursue his Intermediate studies from Government Islamia College, Civil Lines Lahore – 1 of the historic institutions of the city.

Driven by academic passion  & vision for justice, he completed his Graduation from Government College University (GCU) Lahore , one of the finest educational institutions in South Asia. His thirst for knowledge and justice didn’t stop there – he obtained his LLB from Punjab University Law College (PULC) , followed by a Master’s in Political Science from Punjab University Lahore.

This diverse educational exposure helped shaped his progressive yet grounded outlook on law, society, and governance.

Professional Career – From Learner to Leader

In the year 2002, Nadeem Chaudhary embarked on his professional legal career by joining the reputed Khosa Law Chamber as a junior associate. Under the mentorship of some of the brightest legal minds, he polished his skills in civil and criminal law.

Throughout his legal career, he has handled countless cases with utmost dedication and brilliance. His practice ranges across civil, criminal and constitutional matters , reflecting his versatility & command over multiple branches of law.

Champion of Human Rights – HR Times International & SPHR

In 2004, he created history by launching Pakistan’s first English monthly on human rights, titled HR Times International as editor. This publication became a voice for the voiceless & highlighted many sensitive human rights issues that others were scared to speak about.

Simultaneously, he served as the General Secretary of the Society for Promotion of Human Rights (SPHR). Under this platform, he took many pro bono cases for the underprivileged. He has always believed that justice should not be a luxury, but a basic right. His vision is now expanding – he is planning to launch a free legal aid clinic, so that no poor person remains deprived of legal help due to financial issues. It is a noble initiative & definitely the need of the hour.

Secretary LBA – A Tenure of Reforms

He was elected as Secretary of Lahore Bar Association in 2013-14, a tenure remembered for its reforms and service-oriented initiatives. During his time, he introduced multiple facilitation measures for lawyers, from improving office facilities to organising welfare events and simplifying administrative procedures.

His leadership style is inclusive, visionary and very hands-on. He believes in working shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow lawyers instead of just giving speeches from the podium.

Strong Legal Roots – A Family of Advocates

Advocate Nadeem Chaudhary hails from a respected Gujjar family with deep roots in the legal profession. His elder brother, Ch Anees Advocate, is a senior advocate of High Court and also served as Deputy Speaker of Ravi Town. His younger brother, Abid Boxer Advocate, is also practising at the High Court.

This shows that law and leadership runs in their blood, and the entire family has contributed in one way or another to the development of legal profession in Lahore.

A Lawyer of the People – “1122” of the Bar

Among the lawyer community of Punjab, Nadeem Ch is affectionately called “1122” – a reference to the emergency rescue service in Pakistan – because he is always available round the clock for any legal, personal or professional issue of fellow lawyers. Whether it’s midnight or early morning, he is known to respond quickly and effectively.

His selfless service has earned him deep respect among lawyers of all ages. It’s very rare these days to find a leader who walks the talk, but Nadeem Ch is truly one of those few.

Political Association – Loyal to the Professional Group

He has been associated for long with the Professional Group of Lawyers, under the visionary leadership of Hamid Khan Advocate. He actively participated in lawyers’ movements for the restoration of judges, democracy, supremacy of constitution and rule of law. He never stood at the back, he was always on the front lines.

This political clarity and his unwavering commitment to constitutionalism make him a natural leader in every sense of the word.

Future Plans – Eyeing Presidency of LBA?

With such a glowing record and the overwhelming support of the lawyer community, it is strongly expected that Nadeem Chaudhary Advocate will soon contest for the President of Lahore Bar Association. His fans, friends and followers are eagerly waiting for the announcement, hoping that this next step will bring even more reforms and development to the legal fraternity.
